Created by Liverpool mother-of-one and founder of freelance agency for mums, Alishia Thomas, it's a chance to raise a toast to motherhood with the world’s first bespoke gin devoted to the most important women in our lives.

Infused with cherry blossom, lemon and subtle hints of lavender, this gin is the perfect treat for all gin lovers and their mums this Mother’s Day.

Reminiscent of Motherhood, cherry blossoms are associated with beauty and the birth of new life. They are a timeless metaphor of life and our reminder to enjoy every single moment of it because, as every mum knows, our babies aren’t little for long.

Alishia says: “I wanted a gin that represented our brand and ethos; bold, playful, and feminine, also emblematic our own unique motherhood journeys. It’s a gin that can be enjoyed at all times in the day: whether it be cocktails with the girls, mothers meet-ups, afternoon playdates, or relaxing sundowners at the end of a long day.”

As the old saying goes, necessity is the mother of invention, and Alishia founded her agency M0THER after spotting a key gap in the employment market for working mothers.

“After struggling to find a job that bridged the gap between motherhood and career, I decided to create the UK’s first flexible working freelance agency for mums and M0THER is the perfect platform to showcase what our community of freelance mothers are capable of. I feel now is a time when women are taking control of their work situations,” adds Alishia. “I want to make mothers the life and soul of this agency and to encourage them to raise businesses and babies at the same time.

“I hope you will join me this Mother’s Day and toast to mums everywhere, past, present and soon-to-be mums.”

The gin will launch in a select number of restaurants and bars around the city on Mother's Day, and of course getting everyone ready for World Gin Day on 8 June 2019.

We have worked with Alishia to create ‘M0THER 75’ cocktail where the delicate cherry blossom flavours work perfectly hand in hand with pomegranate liqueur, lemon, lime and topped with fizz”.
